Book design for The Acropolis Museum Publications ‘from Hippias to Kallias’. A volume based on an international conference hosted in Athens. Scholars from various countries were assembled to illuminate the transformations of Greek art from 527 to 449 B.C, a transitional period marked by the end of a tyranny and the birth of democracy in the Athenian Acropolis.
We designed a layout with ample white space and legible typography, enclosed in a clear design grid. Our goal was to present the content with a contemporary and creative look, while maintaining an elegant balance between all the elements.
